Mission Statement

Throughout history there have been those that protect and serve. Those that respond to people in need and lift ones who have fallen. The Southampton Town Superior Officers Association mission is to carry out the principles which epitomize professionalism in the Law Enforcement through community service and continued safeguarding of integrity, accountability, and excellence in the profession. We believe it is our duty to give back to those who have served in our Military and support the activities of the local community as a whole. Through this service, we strengthen the bond, hold the faith, and carry out our privilege provided to us by United States, State of New York, and Town of Southampton.

The Southampton Town Superior Officers Association proudly continues that legacy.
Our mission is to uphold and carry out the principles that define true professionalism in law enforcement — integrity, accountability, and excellence — through steadfast service to our community.
We recognize that our role extends beyond enforcement; it includes compassion, leadership, and engagement with the people we serve. We believe it is our duty to give back to those who have sacrificed for our freedoms — especially our nation’s military veterans — and to support programs, initiatives, and activities that enrich the fabric of our community as a whole.
Through this dedication, we strengthen the bond between law enforcement and the public, preserve the faith placed in us, and honor the privilege bestowed upon us by the United States of America, the State of New York, and the Town of Southampton. Together, we strive to serve with honor, lead with integrity, and continue a tradition of excellence that defines the Southampton Town Superior Officers Association.
